Course Description

All resident courses are only available to residents in ACVS-registered residency training programs at the time of the course.

Foundations in Arthroscopy: A Hands-On Residency Training Experience

Step into the OR with confidence! This intensive three-day course is tailored for first or second-year surgical residents eager to build a strong foundation in arthroscopy. Through a blend of expert-led instruction and immersive hands-on training, participants will gain the essential skills needed to begin their journey in minimally invasive joint surgery and have the confidence to succeed.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Master the use of arthroscopy tools and training systems
  • Progress from simulation to mentored cadaveric arthroscopic procedures
  • Build confidence in joint navigation, visualization, and technique

    Small Animal Track:
    Focus on the canine elbow, shoulder, and stifle through targeted didactic sessions and wet labs.
    Large Animal Track:
    Explore the equine carpus, hock, and fetlock with in-depth instruction and guided practice.

    What’s Next?
    Graduates of this course are encouraged to continue their journey with the Resident Arthroscopy II: Next Level for advanced techniques.

Course Fee

The course fee for all Residents is $500 USD for the didactic session and wet lab.

All Health Care Professionals must register and pay a course fee.
 

Registration Policy

All attendees must be registered for the course by June 8th.  All attendees including, but not limited to, Health Care Professionals, Guests and Arthrex Corporate Employees are required to register. If you do not receive a registration confirmation after you register, please check your spam/junk mailbox.  

 

Cancellation Policy  

Cancellations must be received in writing via email to AnnaKemp, Anna.Kemp@Arthrex.com.  A full refund will be available for cancellations received by June 8th.  After that date, no refunds will be made.
